We planned on leaving today, but no one could figure out how to start the generator!  It would start for a second and then stop.  The marina sent a mechanic who spent three hours fiddling around with the generator and couldn't get it going.  Finally, the broker called the former owner who said the generator room blower switch has to be on!  Three geniuses couldn't figure that one out!

The next problem was in keeping the fresh water pump on.  The amp meter on the electric panel would go wild every time we switched it on and then the breaker would trip.  Another mechanic looked at that situation and determined that there was a problem although he couldn't figure out what the exact problem was.   By continuing to switch it back on and running the water, we managed to bleed any air out of the water lines and after awhile, the breaker stayed on.  We continued to have problems with this for the rest of the trip but managed to get by with little inconvenience.

The fuel dock opens at 7 AM so we'll fuel up tomorrow morning and we're off.
