& LAYOUT: |
| The
interior of "Turnaround" was completely
refurbished. There are two staterooms and a
convertible dinette. Forward is the bow
stateroom with a large berth, hanging locker, drawer
storage, two opening portlights and opening hatch
overhead. Just aft to port is a private head,
shower and dinette. Just across the dinette to
starboard is the full galley with new corian
countertops, matching the corian on dinette.
Up two steps to the bright, spacious salon accented
by the superb teak appoinments for which Hatteras is
known. Down two steps to enter the owner's
stateroom, which has an island queen berth and
en-suite head with stall shower, abundant drawers,
and closets in fine teak, allowing for an ideal
liveaboard or cruising yacht.
Guest
Stateroom:
The foreward guest stateroom has a large V-berth
with plenty of drawer storage beneath. It has
its own full sized private head with built in
shower. A 13" color TV w/VHS and
satellite connect. There are two opening
portals and one large overhead hatch making that
stateroom very airy and bright. There is an
accessible chain locker in the forepeak.
Salon:
The spacious salon is accented by the superb
teak appointments for which Hatteras is known.
The salon features a fold out sofa that sleeps two, coffee
table (trunk storage), two large barrel chairs,
and a large color TV. All new interiors from
headliner, furniture, carpeting, and accent lights
in headliner. It is fully air conditioned with
SMX digital A/C controls and ready for you to
entertain.

Aft

Stateroom. This features the more
desirable layout with the centerline queen
walkaround bed with port and starboard night stands
with storage. Has a remote control 15"
color TV w/VHS and satellite direct connect, air
conditioning with SMX digital A/C controls, ensuite
head with a stall shower, two hanging closets, full
length dressing mirror, and lots of drawer
storage on both the port and starboard. It is
appointed in teak and has six aft and side facing
opening portals for lots of light. Staterooms
all new from top to bottom. Nice interior
lighting, both 12v and 110v lamps. All closets
have the nice feature of lights that turn on when
opening the door.

| MECHANICAL

Detroit 6-71N diesel fresh water cooled engines with
only 500 hours since major overhaul (total hours on
meters 3772 and 3792). That major overhaul
consisted of new rings, bearings, sleeves, etc.
New injectors 50 hours. All new silicon water
and fuel lines. Invoices on file for viewing.
CO2 fire entinguishing system. Two extra
props, hydraulic steering, engine alarms, trim tabs,
controls in upper cabin station and flybridge, bilge
pumps, bilge blower, two air conditioning units
(12,000 in main salon, 8,000 serving staterooms).
Walker Air Seps on
engines.
Northern Lights Genset with sound enclosure (1375
hrs. 1994), fresh water cooled. 50amp dockside
power with dockside cord. Battery charger, four
heavy duty 12v batteries, invertor.

| REMARKS: |
| This
is an excellent example of the classic 43' Hatteras
design that has only had the best of care! No
expense spared to keep this vessel maintained and
redecorated. Just hauled in June 2003,
new bottom paint - no blisters at that time.
Zincs installed. Excellent boat and an
incredible value for the quality minded yachtsman.
This is a must see boat and the owner says
"bring offers"! |
